India's combined NSE + BSE MTF book rose ₹3,632 crore (14.8%) in April 2022 to ₹28,169 crore on 29 Apr 2022 — the largest monthly rise since tracking began, and 114.9% higher than a year earlier. The book grew on 13 of 17 sessions. HDFC Bank added the most, ₹403 crore.
