India's combined NSE + BSE MTF book rose ₹10,983 crore (9.1%) in May 2026 to a record ₹1,31,317 crore on 29 May 2026 — the 2nd-largest monthly rise since tracking began, and 59.8% higher than a year earlier. The book grew on 14 of 19 sessions. State Bank of India added the most, ₹884 crore.
