India's combined NSE + BSE MTF book fell ₹4,818 crore (5.6%) in October 2024 to ₹80,577 crore on 31 Oct 2024 — the largest monthly fall since tracking began, and 78.7% higher than a year earlier. The book grew on 9 of 22 sessions. State Bank of India saw the largest unwind, ₹397 crore.
