India's combined NSE + BSE MTF book rose ₹10,051 crore (17.6%) in April 2024 to ₹67,159 crore on 30 Apr 2024 — the largest monthly rise since tracking began, and 160.4% higher than a year earlier. It set a record ₹67,620 crore on 29 Apr 2024 before easing. The book grew on 17 of 20 sessions. Vodafone Idea added the most, ₹1,073 crore.
