India's combined NSE + BSE MTF book rose ₹4,681 crore (10.1%) in December 2023 to ₹51,019 crore on 29 Dec 2023 — the 2nd-largest monthly rise since tracking began, and 76.5% higher than a year earlier. It set a record ₹51,199 crore on 27 Dec 2023 before easing. The book grew on 14 of 20 sessions. Indiabulls Hsg Fin added the most, ₹304 crore.
